OLD GAFFERS/TRADITIONAL BOATS DAY 2025

This years fun day for traditionally rigged boats is scheduled for Saturday July 12th, so by rights the weather should be more favourable. This is also a camping weekend for the sailing section. Similar format to last year with an evening meal of chicken or veg curry followed by crumble. A Ceilidh band will be playing jigs for you to work up an appetite or shake your dinner down. More »

Sailing Working Party - 23rd Feb

As is traditional, on the Sunday of the AGM, this year held on the 23rd February, morning racing is replaced with the first Working Party of the year. This working party sets the section up for the rest of the year, with it being the first opportunity to review the boats and assets across the club. Important Boat Park Update Action Needed by 24th February

Dear Member, We've made some important changes to  improve boat & trailer identification  in the park. Recent flooding and caravan park works highlighted a big issue - many boats and trailers  had no identification , making it difficult to contact owners when necessary. NEW: Aluminium Foil ID Stickers We are replacing the old yellow tags with  durable, discreet aluminium foil ID stickers  (3cm x 7cm). More »
